Bradley Cooper confirmed as the voice of Rocket Raccoon

You can kick and scream all you like but Bradley Cooper has been confirmed as the voice of Rocket Raccoon in Marvel‘s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy.

I trust that Marvel knows what they’re doing but I still can’t help that think that Bradley Cooper is an odd choice. For everything that can be said about Rocket Raccoon, one thing you can’t attribute to that cocky space raccoon is being boring. I’m admittedly not a huge fan of Rocket Raccoon, he aggravates me in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and I’m never read a single page of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic, but there’s no debating that he’s teaming with charisma. Bradley Cooper on the other hand doesn’t strike me as such. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a good actor, he was great in Limitless, but he’s not somebody who I would mistake for being charismatic.

Well, like it or not Bradley Cooper will be joining Chris Pratt (Peter Quill), Zoe Saldana (Gamora) and Dave Bautista (Drax) when Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters August 1, 2014.
