‘The Flash’ TV Series coming to the CW

While DC Comics/Warner Bros can’t seem to get a foothold in the cinematic world, they’ve been making headway into the television world with the success of Arrow, and Smallville before it. The Flash is up next to be the latest DC hero to get a series on the CW. The Flash will be produced by the same creative team behind Arrow as DC hopes to recreate that success.

Bryan Cranston pranks fans at Comic-Con

Before Bryan Craston was known the world over as Hiesenberg/Walter White, he was the affable dad from Malcolm in the Middle. Apparently, he wanted to remind everyone that he’s quite the comedian. During this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Bryan Cranston opted to hide in plain sight, disguised as his character from Breaking Bad.

The Walking Dead Season 4 Trailer

Pardon me while I pick my jaw off of the floor, but Season 4 of The Walking Dead looks incredible! Following Season 3, Robert Kirkman had mentioned that Season 4 would be more in line with what readers of the comic have been wanting from the series and if the trailer is any indication, it’ll be just that.

Liv Tyler to Star in Damon Lindelof’s HBO Pilot

Liv Tyler. HBO. Damon Lindelof. Two out of three of these are things which I absolutely adore. The third is the manifestation of good ideas marred by lazy writing. That manifestation goes by the name of Damon Lindelof. Ah yes, Damon Lindelof, the same man who brought us Lost and Prometheus. Hell even Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk. Remember how that started off so awesome and then took years to finish only for the latter half of the series to be remarkably lackluster? Yeah, me too.

A Look Back At Game of Thrones Season 3

Spoiler Alert! If you don’t know what the purpose of dragon glass is than you may want to finish watching Season 3 before you read this. You’ve been warned.   We’re a week removed from the season finale of Game of Thrones and it’s well passed time for me to jot down how I felt about Season 3. Unfortunately, it would be impossible for me to even attempt to comment on everything that happened this season, without writing a book that is. Instead I’m going to touch on the parts of Season 3 which I enjoyed the most.

Why the Zombieland TV Show failed so hard

Back in 2009, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick created something special, they took an over saturated genre, littered it with humor, and gave birth to the movie Zombieland. Originally, the creators had wanted to create a television show and four years later they had their opportunity. Sadly, if you strip away the title “Zombieland” and the names of the characters, nothing about the television pilot even remotely resembles the movie.
