If you’re anything like me then the gameplay trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist left you salivating and promoted Blacklist to your must have list for this year. If that’s the case then you’re likely interested in what bonuses you’ll receive for pre-ordering. Every pre-order comes with the Echelon Pack which includes gold sonar goggles, the Upper Echelon Suit and a Dead Coast Co-Op Mission, while individual retailers have their own pre-order exclusives.
The Amazon pre-order comes with the Suppress and Assault pack which includes a fully Customized F40 Pistol and 416 Assault Rifle.
The Best Buy pre-order comes with the Run and Gun Pack which includes a Vector .45 ACP and Tactical Gloves.
The GameStop pre-order comes with the Covert Hunter Pack which includes Tactical Crossbow and Gas Arrow, a 4E Eclipse Ops Suit, and a VSS Sniper Rifle.
Wal-Mart: The Wal-Mart pre-order comes with the Protect and Defend Pack which includes a M1014 Shotgun and MBS Boots.
Personally, I plan to forgo stealth and kill anything in sight, So as much as I hate to admit it the Wal-Mart pre-order looks the most appealing. Hand me a shotgun and I’m a happy camper.
If you’re feeling extra frisky you can opt for the special $169 dollar pre-order, dubbed the Paladin Aircraft Edition. Paladin Aircraft Edition comes with a remote-controlled airplane, an 88-page limited edition Splinter Cell Echoes graphic novel, an exclusive Billionaire’s Yacht Co-Op Map, and a limited edition Sam Fisher poster.
All of which sounds cool, but I think it’ll stick with the pre-order bonuses myself.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist releases on August 20, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U.
