Comic Reviews with The Comic Bubble – Week of 11/11

Welcome to another weekly roundup of Ice’s comic reviews! Comics for this week: Thors #4, Ultimates #1 and Batman/Superman #26!   Thors #4 Marvel Written by: Jason Aaron Art by: Chris Sprouse Yes, believe it or not, Secret Wars tie-ins are still rampaging on. Thors’ final issue has arrived, finally putting the pin on the case of the murdered Jane Fosters. And Donal Blake. And Beta Ray Bill. The “Ultimate” Thor and Mighty (616?) Thor team up to take down the other Thors who were the actual killers. This kind of team up almost feels like its a Thor helping out his fellow clone. Oh, the 90s. The final issue of course does its job wrapping up the case and the series with the usual checklist. Big fight with the hero and the true, unmasked (metaphorically speaking) bad guy? Check. The big bad monologues why he did it, that it was for the good of someone or something, that it was the right thing to do? Check. The cliché “I’d do it again!” line? Most definitely check. We also see why this issue was delayed so long as it contains a scene that would’ve spoiled a part from the main…
