Season 4 of Game of Thrones is still nearly two months away, thankfully the old gods and the new have kindly granted us a nearly 15 minute long teaser of what’s to come. If you’ve read the books you know the “Purple Wedding” is sure to satisfy! If you haven’t read the books, I envy you, because you’ll get to experience everything form the latter half of A Storm of Swords for the first time!

‘Tis the season to get intimate with a tall glass of delicious Straight Outta Austin! This week we cover Breaking Bad the opera, Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow to play Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, Marvel putting the kibosh on a Punisher fan film, our feelings on The Expendables, and one of the Game of Thrones porn parodies entitled “Game of Bones”. Seriously, I didn’t even make that up. You’ll also enjoy an impromptu discussion about manga, specifically Gantz!
For those who weren’t able to make it, you can still enjoy the panel for Game of Thrones from San Diego Comic Con 2013, courtesy of ThinkHeroPro! It features the showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the series creator George R. R. Martin, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harrington (Jon Snow), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Tully Stark), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Richard Madden (Robb Stark), and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly). With a special guest appearance!
Spoiler Alert! If you don’t know what the purpose of dragon glass is than you may want to finish watching Season 3 before you read this. You’ve been warned. We’re a week removed from the season finale of Game of Thrones and it’s well passed time for me to jot down how I felt about Season 3. Unfortunately, it would be impossible for me to even attempt to comment on everything that happened this season, without writing a book that is. Instead I’m going to touch on the parts of Season 3 which I enjoyed the most.
Winter is Coming. That is, unless you live in Texas, then winter is fleeting. But I digress. Season 3 brings with it the hope that Joffrey will be force fed the pointy end of a sword. His equally vile mother, Cersei Lannister, bleeding out would be a suitable substitute if we’re not treated to that gem. If neither of these outcomes happen then hopefully we’ll at least get to see Arya blossom into a bad ass or maybe Ser Jorah Mormont will get some from Daenerys. Regardless of what happens this Season, at least we know that Tyrion Lannister will continue being too awesome for words.
