Over the past weekend, rumors starting springing up through the stream monster community, accompanied with – or perhaps fueled by – an ominous, and rather awful-looking “4″ which obviously meant Marvel vs Capcom 4 will be announced soon. As extremely exciting as this sounds, I have my doubts this is even true. First of all, according to this article from Shoryuken, that ominous 4 you see above was fan-created. As far as I’ve been able to dig up, any and all rumors begin off the appearance of this image almost a week ago, but was revealed early Monday morning to be fake by its creator. You can catch a link to that reveal in the Shoryuken article. Then yesterday, Polygon’s article pops up about 12 hours later, attempting to legitimize the claims, but I guess we won’t find out until the Playstation Experience event set for this weekend. You know, according to their mysterious “multiple sources”. If by multiple sources, they mean the internet, then I guess anything is reliable. That comes to my second thought; why is this coming from “multiple sources”, instead of “Marvel insiders” or “sources close to the project”? You know, a source I can…

Nadya Sonika is not only brilliant when it comes to adapting male characters to a female cosplay but she’s an absolute sweet heart in person! If you’re ever presented with the opportunity to meet her, implore you not to pass it up! Nadya Sonika’s cosplay is some of the best I’ve seen, but you don’t need for me to tell you that as it speaks for itself!
Sarah Fong is self described as a cartooned costumer and legendary blanket fort architect. These are obviously most excellent perks to pad out a resume. On top of all that, Sarah Fong has some of the best cosplay that I’ve seen and they’re of some of my favorite characters no less. Specifically, her Cammy and Sakura cosplay are absolutely phenomenal! Also in the Capcom and Street Fighter universe, are Ibuki and Blaze which are great in their own right.
Maria Romas, better known to the cosplay community as Mariedoll, is a professional model from Houston,Texas. In addition to her love of cosplay, she also I loves photography, dancing, modeling, anime, and videogames. She especially loves her two schnauzers to death! The professionalism of Mariedoll is apparent in every one of her photos, she’s more than a pretty face and really knows how to bring her characters to life.
KatyBear, as she’s known to the cosplay community, has always loved dressing up and after trying cosplay for the first time she was hooked. I’m sure that being born on Halloween couldn’t have hurt. KatyBear first started cosplaying two years ago, at the behest of her husband, after being inspired by what she saw at Con-Nichiwa in Tucson, Arizona. Her favorite cosplay, thus far, is her favorite character, Cammy. Cammy is also a favorite character of mine and hence why this week is dedicated to that Katybear’s Cammy cosplay!

Marvel vs Capcom 3 was one of those games every gamer wanted to exist. Marvel Vs Capcom 2 was(and still is) such a great game, that no one could possibly comprehend what, or who, the next iteration would include. Even today, MVC2 gets so much love from the community. If that wasn’t a selling point for how awesome this game was, once Capcom stopped printing copies, used game retailers began selling any copies they could find for $80, at minimum. I remember when the internet became a thing in my house, and then eBay, I found a copy of MVC2 starting at a base price of $120. Suffice to say, MVC2 was a hot commodity and the reigning king of fighting games… along with 3rd Strike. A decade later, there was still no sign that Capcom was even remotely interested in the series, and all the villages in the world waited for the day a hero would stand tall and deliver us the greatest sequel never made. But the hero never came… …Until one day…
